AOL Explorer?

I was just browsing on my family computer (the one I dont use) and I noticed an odd program. It's AOL Explorer.

Does anyone know anything about this? We used AOL back when I was like 10 and I asways hated how you had to load the biggest resource hog in the world just to get online. Have they finally heeded to public demand and created a lite version? Or is this old news? The explorer to me didnt seem bad. Tabbed browsing and didnt mess up any of my layouts. But it doesnt support 24-bit PNGs. Whats up?

Very good idea to uninstall. Their programs are very obtrusive and are more a pain then a help.

AOL dose have AOL Explorer. Itz' a new browser they have made for people to use. I was a beta tester for it.

i am using aol and trust me all he said in his first post is true. It takes up most of the system resources just to start aol.

I didnt say I was planning on using AOL explorer. Im way too much in love with ff. I was just wondering if there is signifigant reason to try and optimize your sites for it as well as the ather browsers.

...AvantBrowser is based off IE, so you still get all of the scumware, security holes, ect.
