Hi,

It's such a shame that Business 2.0 closed it's doors for business as it used to hilite some awesome online trends and had some great cover stories (Kevin Ham)
So what i'm asking is - what else is out there to match it?
Wired doesn't even come up to it's knee.
Focus & Popsci have too much science - so what else it there?
Or are there any great sites with a similar concept you can recommend.

I haven't found anything nearly as good yet myself ... business2

was in a class of its own :(

I was a subscriber to Business 2.0 as well. It was the only magazine that I read and re-read cover to cover (and kept all back issues). My subscription is being "paid out" by the publisher by receiving issues of Fortune magazine instead. While there is the occasional web story in Fortune, it's essentially an old-school business magazine. I really miss Business 2.0 and wish that the writers and editors could have continued as an online version. If it was a subscription-only model, I'd sign up in a heart beat.

I miss that magazine already.
Check out Wired or Fast Company. There
are that many options.

Who reads paper magazines anymore? There are plenty of websites with all the latest info and stories and most magainze's articles you can get from their websites without subscribing to their paper magazine. They should just run Business 2.0 as an online website so they dont have to deal with the costs of printing and distributing.

Entrepreneur and Inc. don't even come close to Business 2.0, what a pity. I also used to read the Business 2.0's from cover to cover.

Inc. and Fast Company are okay - but don't come close.

Business 2.0 was the king
I really can't understand why they terminate a magazine with a fan group (facebook)
by the way ... Fortune Small Business is good magazine too

For one, I do! Aside from reducing my level of eye strain compared to stairing at a screen, they are a far better alternative to an overly warm laptop balanced on my knees wheile I'm paying an extended visit to the "throne room"...
