Anyone using DNZoom?

Hello,

Any feedback on DNZoom?

It's a "free" program (I think so) , in beta2, that combines all your domain names, registers, parking companies info/stats, expiration dates, etc. into one account...which is located on their secured server.

(Sounds like an ad for them!)

I know I have many domains, many registers, a couple parking companies and have just lost a domain to expiration! Gotta be a better way.

Anyway using them?

Thanks,
Paul

Yup... very useful for seeing all your stats, although I haven't gotten around to importing everything, just my personal accounts.

I have to say though that I do like using it even though I haven't quite gone through all the functions, just have lot of things to do at the moment.

DNZoom sounds pretty good, but I'm not always a fan of online apps that use my account information. If I decided I wanted this I would probably check out the software from namefollow.com. It seems to do something much the same as DNZoom, only offline.

I would strongly consider an online application if it did not use my account access and just pulled WHOIS information.

There is also nameview.com, but I don't know anything about their service.

Hi Guys,

I thought I would add a few things to the good points already mentioned.

It is not required that you place any of your account creds on file with us. If you do, you will gain more use of the tool, but it is not required.

With no creds on file, you can still organize your portfolio. If you do decide to place the creds on file then you can use API features like domain NS changes, bulk updates across multiple registrars, multiple parking panel additions, etc.

If you choose to run it w/o the creds, you can tag domains, place them in different folders, have a central area for looking over your names, etc.

If anyone has any other questions feel free to post them here in the thread, PM me, or email me: sean(a t)dnzoom.com

Regards!

Sean
