I did not take issue with you, your position, or statements. Maybe what confused matters here is how my last paragraph could have been mistaken to look like a PS. My objection was only to the specific graphic comment included in the post by P_N, that somehow success in owning or developing these names could be measured or evidenced by such a crass public action. The statement was hypothetical but over the line, at least to my sensibilities.
We seem to disagree on the fundamental outlook for the future use of the .mobi extension, or at least its use by everyday surfers. That's okay, I understand both points of view. It is so early in the game and there are many threads at NP covering that debate.
As far as guessing at the value of a specific .mobi name, we are all gathering data and accumulating experience as sales occur. It may take a year to sort this all out. But for now, all appraisal comments are welcome whether they are $0 or $xx or $x,xxx.
