I came across a few SG registrars who are promoting on low .sg pricing and even from SGNIC's website. One of the lowest i could find is offering it at only USD2.50...and more today I saw from SGNIC's website here that they are approaching their 100,000th Registration and the 100,000th Registrant will receive SGD2,000, haha, guess Christmas is here early this year. :santa: http://www.sgnic.net/newsroom/20080814153853.html

I don't see the potential of .sg but i do see a few sales going for .sg if i remember correctly. Not much.
Singapore doesn't have huge population. I don't see an end user market for domain hack.

Conclusion, go with .com always.

be careful if you are buying to resell.....it takes ages to transfer a .sg domain name. I had a bad experience and since then have not bought a single .sg domain name for the sheer pain you have to go through to get the name transferred..unless they have changed the transfer process you and the buyer are in for a lot of paperwork

the renewal fee is high tho, but ya, I think it is promotion only, it will end like soon, in the end of august. need singaporean address proxy I think.
