Anyone Here Buy Entire Portfolios?

Hi,

I am trying to see if anyone here would be interested in buying an entire portfolio of domain names (or a subset of my domains). I am fully willing to part with ALL my .coms and .nets since I need the money.

I have some very good .coms, although my domains tend to be more of the end-user type domains, I do have some good keywords, as well as some that get traffic.

If anyone here would be interested please PM me--I am more than willing to negotiate to try to create a win-win situation for all parties involved.

Try posting the portfolio in one of the "Domains for Sale" sections. You may be pleasantly surprised at the response.

Feel free to open a "for sale" thread in the appropriate forum - or seek out 3rd party "portfolio buyers" that you'll see mentioned around the board.

However, this toes the line between "discussion" and, well, basically just an "advertisement".

OK guys..The reason I posted here is because I first posted in the domians for Sale-Fixed price--and you know how long your posting stays on the first page of that Thread. I believe that most members here have begun ignoring that particular thread (as have I) due to the irrelevant and overpriced domains being advertised there.

I would rather contact portfolio buyers directly based on their interest in aquiring a portfolio of domains at once. Also, I am specifically looking for someone interested in the types of domains in my portfolio, which are keyword-specific, end-user type domains.

Anyway, based on your suggestions, I will post back down there.

You make a good point gericsb. In that case, another thing you might try is a more direct approach to fellow NP members. (Correct me Allan if this approach would be inappropriate) Search these forums for your keyword(s) and identify some members that have purchased or shown interest in those types of domains. Then send them a polite PM to measure their interest.

Since quite a few of us have been accumulating large numbers of domains over the past few years, I think it should be safe to assume that the number of domainers who are looking to sell their entire portfolio is steadily increasing. I'm personally also thinking of liquidating the major portion of my 8,000+ portfolio to fund some other projects and investments.

Allan, it would be great if you could create a special section for offering entire portfolio's for sale, or perhaps one section for (let's say) 500- portfolio's and one for 500+ portfolio's.

Dutch's idea is great. Only once I bought over a thousand names, but maybe more people would buy portfolios more often if there were a place where they would not get lost in the vast ocean of domains for sale.
