    Hi,

I'm back to the community with question that most of us very unfamiliar with it. Even end user doesnt know what does "bagogo" or "blogsy" means. Atleast one can find its very good name!

So how can we find end user that maybe interested in brandable domain instead of list at brandable marketplace. How to tell them the domains is fit to their business?
Do you have any experience in contacting end user or success selling brandable domains?

On occasion I have sold brandable .COM domains (two to three word) which don't necessarily have significant search volume but make sense and would make for a nice brand for a website. These sales range from low $XXX to low $XXXX as sales above $1500 are not common. I have found outbound marketing to sell such names to companies with the equivalent .Net or a longer but similar name or a hyphenated version to be a waste of time. These sales occur because someone is looking for a domain for a website and they find it available for sale at a price within their budget (unfortunately many end users' budgets are reg fee). Given the low conversion rate of selling such names, it can be debated how worthwhile that effort has been. I have no experience selling made up words such as those found on Brandbucket.

buyers typically find the brandables they are interested in, it usually does not work the other way around and you'd probably end up selling for less, than if they approached you.

i have sold some that were listed on sedo.

    imo...

They will contact you as they are brainstorming.

I have sold some in the low $x,xxx to mid $x,xxx

They have plenty of options. They most be in love with the domain name to pay more than $1,500.

Contacting end users about made-up brandables (without easily recognizable base kw) is a total waste of time IMO. They don't want it, don't need it. On the other hand, contacting them about good two-word brandables with a base kw related to their industry occasionally pays off. If you are selling, say, security solutions, smartguard.com would definitely be a compelling proposition to you.

all the domains i have purchased are in my opinion very brandable problem is they are .co.uk so are not desired as much. its causing me a small nightmare to sell them as im trying to earn enough to get the wifes anniversary present (la boutins)

If they are great names they will sell. Make sure they make sense and they can be used by a company for marketing purposes.

If you know what you are doing and understand the market, there is good revenue to be made with 2-4 word brand-types. But you need accumulate many of these types to generate a consistent stream of sales.

Within the past 40 days alone, I have sold 4 brand-types (for +$10K)...

    ManageAnywhere.com
    TheBigShoot.com
    EdCare.net
    MCHealth.net

As others have mentioned for brandables the buyer will find you, given you have some decent names of course.
I myself have sold several in the x,xxx range.

Inbound? Outbound? Where did you learn about and contact the client?

Inbound of course, for that amount.

Brand-type sales are almost always inbound.

Sedo/Afternic/DNS/GD - Those are (by far) the top 4 where all your names should be listed.

Do you list your domain at 4 marketplaces at the same time or at just one at a time?

    Congrats!

Are you not bound to it if you've already placed a domain on Auction at one of the marketplaces?
