I’m got rare chance to register my name as .mobi, nice part is it’s a LLLL and all other major domains ext registered before 2000.

I know this thread question has been posted before (by other members but thats ok)A few of us here did manage to reg our names, at the very least their sons or daughters names (or surnames!) I picked up my first and surname during the premium stage- it's good you managed to get yours a little cheaper. I hope you develop yours, mine is forwarded to my landscape photography site!

I agree.

As for me, it is much better to reg your surname rather than you first name.

Yoursurname dot TLD could be used for all your family members, just subdomain it. And what about email? yourfamilymember AT yoursurname DOT TLD. You can configure an email for each member.

Generally we are registering domains with an intention of reselling, but those registering their name/surname not wholly with an intention of reselling.

Those have missed the chance to register your name.com, for them mobi domain will remain a golden opportunity.
