Anyone good with excel? Conditional formatting question

Our professor puts up these excel worksheets that we have to turn in as homework. She sets it up where if you don't have the correct value in the field, then a red line is through it, and when you do get it right, the red line goes away... which means somewhere in the excel file is something that has the correct answer, but I don't know where to look. Any way to find out?

You should be able to right click on the cell and then see what is in the formatting. But if she is smart enough to know how to use that feature, she probably has the formatting protected too!

1) Format -> Conditional Formatting

Then you will get....

When Cell D3 = 98.3 then Correct

But SharonTucci is right, if the sheet is protected then you will not be able to view conditional formatting. However, if there is no password, then you will be able to unprotect the sheet.

2) Tools > Protection > Unprotect Sheet

Then step 1.
