Any Suggestions for promoting your Blog

I have a Blog at Wordpress.com which I want to promote. Can you tell me some techniques to grow traffic for my Blog? I already have pinged the blog at Technorati and hope to receive a reply soon.

I dont really know what you could do. BLogs are hard to advertise. Maybe jsut psot around on some forums and traffic will come to you. If you regularly update it with interesting stuff then people will stay.

Put it up for review and tha will promote it. Also a link in a signature is a good idea.

Apart from adding a link in the signature you can also sumbit your address to blog search sites and directories, advertise your blog in free blog advertisers and link to other blogs.

Link to other bloggers and in exchange, ask them to link back to you too. A lot of people blogsurf so this will bring traffic to your blog

Well you can post it here in your sig and in your sigs on other forums. You can also use your NP$ to pay people to click on it. That is how I am starting to get traffic.

hmm blogs are sometimes hard to get traffic to, trust me i got two blogs and usually get about two hits per day lol, just promote it on sites and put a link to it in your sig and it will gradualy start to get traffic

use www.blogexplosion.com and other people will have to visit your blog. It's a good way to get noticed. Also, by posting a link to your blog as part of a comment on a related blog, Google will start to find you.
