No traffic in my blog

Hi everybody!
Here is my problem: I have a blog but no visitors!
My blog is about manga, I've created it the 2006-09-01.
the traffic is close to nothing although it appears on google. I'm not a specialist, I'm new in web and search engine things...I'm totally lost.
could you help me so I can get some traffic in my blog?

try to start some stories in "digg" ... u will likely get temporary traffic from it..

also, submit ur blog to link directories and exchange links with your freinds and all..

Well i think you misunderstood wut that new member asked ,

I'm sure she knows she has to work but she seems asking wut she has to do for that.
back to topic well there are plenty of ways to get traffic to your site, if u want free traffic,

01. Submit your site to web directories
02. social bookmark sites like , del.icio.us , stumble upon
03. submit a story to digg.com
04. exchange links with related web sites
05. use your site name in your forum signatures

Most of all read articles about search engine optimization.

My favorite Firefox plugin for submitting to directories is informenter. Makes it real quick and easy.
