Any Feedback and Ranking Script available?

I am looking to develop a simple site that evaluates services. Visitors can write comments, share experiences, and give a score, etc for each competing service, and perhaps the particular service may respond to each visitor comment.

I looked through Hotscripts and it suggested LOTS of "top lists" scripts. Does anybody have a good suggestion for a script with those functions? Thanks and cheers.

Have you tried posting a job on scriptlance.com or rentacoder.com you may be able to find a coder for cheap to create it for you...This way you may own the script and have have the right to resell it to others...

Thanks for the tip. I will go check it out. The problem with paying a coder is, through experience, that they disappear after they receive the deposit payment. The last time I was fortunate enough for Paypal to return me 95% of what I had paid because that guy had made an error during the withdrawal process (meaning, it wasn't that Paypal was generous).

It very depend on what you exactly want.

I can suggest to use mambo for what you have asked (I use my self for most of my sites (and a lot more) it has a built in rating feature and people can add a comment... to see how it work you can go see at www.genialnames.com then you click on a name and in the top of the page you see the ranking.
also in the link section visitors are able to rank an item....
Mamboi has a lot of modules and a lot of features each module, often a rank is included so it's likely you will find what you're looking for.

Have you tried messing with the php in a phpbb forum, it would be easily created. If you would like me to have ago i will be able to do it for a small charge, i accept through paypal and i will charge bare minimum or £20 or if you can not afford that we can disccus and negotiate.
