I need to sell a domain and would like to know if there's an escrow service that could keep my money for a while (a couple of months) because I currently have to fix a few things with my bank account. I know that Francois Carrillo's eCop.com is able to do that (first time I'd use it, is it reliable?). Any others?

Escrow.com can issue a US check. But there may be fees on your end for clearing if you don't have a US bank.

You could also use paypal to receive payment and hold it there (if you ignore the withdraw like MAD thread)

I`d suggest using Moneybookers.com... 1% fee and you can hold your $ there

Unfortunately, being based in Europe, I suppose that wouldn't a viable solution.

I've heard too many horror stories about Paypal blocking access to accounts thus making people unable to use their funds. Paypal is a great service, but the safest way to use it is by moving the money away asap.

Do they support withdrawal to Paypal?
