How many .bz domain name be registered so far?
What is the lowest reg fee for it?

personally don't like .bz because the existance of .biz
not sure about the 2 letter value, but I remembered namecheap offers it at 28 while registerfly has a price at 29.

I think I paid $30 for mine. no clue that .bz domains are worth resell, I'm sure not that much right now.

I think .bz names are of little value
and yes they may be confused with .biz
that's one good reason for not registering these names

Many people are now getting used to .biz but .bz... few people even know about Belize. They might even think it's a typo and change it to .biz :imho:

I've tried selling bay.bz and several others on eBay, on one even interested...
My only thoughts are, perhaps as a developed web site, I might bring in some takers, but if I go to the trouble of SEOing a site, it's probably worth more to me as an affiliate site than convincing someone to buy it.

Ergo, I will be developing cowboyboots.bz , bay.bz , etc...... rather than selling them.

Thanks for your info and help. I do find the same thing as duskdawn said. I find $28.88 for one year reg fee is the lowest one at namecheap.com.( Still high ) If you register for more years, it will be much low at some other site.

I cannot help you with the detailed number, I found some decent keyword names available with .bz extensions, however, not yet to reg them, because I saw britain.bz even cannot be sold by its owner and the owner finally decided to let it drop.

I have seen the two letter .bz sell for anywhere between $50 and $100. The same is true of the top keywords.

I wouldn't necessarily regard this as a bad thing. Owners of .bz addresses can garner traffic off of TLD typos.

As a whole, bz domains are just a commercialized cctld (bz meaning Belize). Good luck with the names/sites if you so choose to get them

Bz is a contry code TLD! Not worth to register IMO!
