Analysis Paralysis?

I think I am getting a bit of analysis paralysis, I have a domain that I know could do some wonderful things in the right hands, it is an exact match for what many people would look for in pretty much any country in the world however this is the main issue, it is semi-generic which means it covers a HELL of a lot of companies in England alone, add America, Canada, the whole of Europe and every other country to the mix and you end up with many thousands of possible end-users..

I think what panics me is that when I have got a list I have to contact each of them individually, does anyone know of any software or service that breaks the job down into specific sections that I can attack to make it more manageable?

If I am doing it for the most likely countries, how do I get Google to think I am in America so that I can get the results from there instead of my own country?

And you don't mean how do you use Google.com and not Google.co.uk?

No, Google.com simply gives British websites or redirects to .co.uk, .nz gives me results for Chicago and New York...

I want to find some way to find specifically companies in the country that I am looking for, without going to maps as that does not help one bit, Google Places for instance on my keyword only brings up 3 results, 2 of which are wiki.

I want some way to say to Google, I am in Australia now, I want to find companies that I require in Sydney or Perth or even Melbourne; I do not want anything from any other country.

See the picture above, I am looking specifically for those with the New Zealand URL, however I am bombarded with British adverts, these I do not want.

The results I get are specific by country google.com.au gives Australia, google.co.uk gives UK etc.

The results are enhanced if you you "change location" on the options for the search to get more local results (which doesn't work that great for a real generic search like that).

Beyond that I have no idea. Perhaps find a proxy site in each country and go that way.

Try something like:

http://www.appappeal.com/the-most-popular-app-per-country/business-search/

I've never used this site before... but I figured each country had an app for business searches (like Hoovers, Zoominfo, Jigsaw).

Don't rely on Google :)

Use the Google Global Extension by Redfly Marketing. They have add-ons for Firefox and Chrome. You can switch views between the US, Ireland, the UK, Australia, and Canada. Maybe more now, but I haven't checked.

Seems like they haven't updated it for Firefox lately, so you may have to go Chrome to use it.

Also, a post at searchenginejournal.com/how-to-see-google-search-results-for-other-locations/25203/
shows you how to do it manually by typing in the url box.
