Almost 80 Degrees Today, Snow Tomorrow!

This weather is screwed up! It was 76 degrees here today.. I was out in shirt sleeves all day. Now it's thunder and lightning out with rain and a flood watch BUT... tomorrow:

Monday
Periods of rain through the day. Occasional light sleet late in the morning. Snow in the late morning and afternoon. Snow and sleet accumulation up to 1 inch. Ice accumulation of less than one quarter of an inch. Windy. Turning sharply colder. Highs in the mid 30s. North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 35 mph. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.


Monday Night
Snow. Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches. Breezy. Lows 17 to 21. North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 30 mph in the evening decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.

Glad I'm not working tomorrow! :p

Yesterday was beautiful in central IL, it was around 65-70 and today its about 35, and we are supposed to get snow soon. It's weird that when its the first day its warm like that, you think spring has automatically just started and then its freezing again!

At least spring break is next week... I'm sure its a little warmer than 35 in Puerto Vallarta where I'll be for a week

Is that why China experienced the coldest winter ever recorded? There was more snow covering North America this year then the past few years? That record lows were being recorded (Atleast in Florida)?

It was 54 degrees here in Eastern Iowa yesterday and then we got a couple inches of snow last night. Crazy weather indeed! Suppose to get more snow Wednesday.

Typical Colorado weather

That's what is funny with people having the misconception about Colorado, they just automatically assume that it's freezing cold with tons of snow all the time. They don't realize that it can snow 7 inches one day and be 60 degrees the next. I use to live in Fort Collins, I absolutely love the Estes Park/Fort Collins/Denver area...would move back to Colorado in a heartbeat! How much snow has Denver got this year? We've got 70 inches here in Eastern Iowa so far (6th snowiest winter of all time with only 5.5 inches to break the record).
