I scanned all Chinse premium (without a,e,i,o,u,v and 0,4) LLNN and NNLL .com and all are gone. I registered last two CP NNLL.coms that were left!

What do you think is the future of this?

I can confirm that all "chinese" llnn.com are already registered, so we are in a buyout phase for these domains.

Haven't checked nnll but seems to be the same. More than 80% of owners are chinese.

The definition of "chinese" is very precise:
Letters: No A E I O U V
Numbers: No 4 and no 0 in first position (e.g. 10 is fine, 01 isn't)

I have noticed more interest for these names at expired domains sites. I see this segment as a viable alternative for domainers that want to invest in short domains but want to avoid overpriced segments or non .com names. I've already bought a few of these but I'm finding increasingly difficult to get them cheap, so the opportunity window could be short lived.

Even LNNNL are difficult to find if the NNN is a number such as 888, 666, or 168

Around 500 LLNN have been bought from GoDaddy closeouts in the last few days. Only 5 non-premium are left.

what about NNLL ?

I don't know. I don't see a strong demand for NNLL from Chinese buyers yes as we currently see for LLNN.

For those of you that have LLNNs, have received any offer through email?

I'm wondering if they are already liquid domains...

It's a bit early for that. The buy-out only happened a couple of weeks ago.

I actually did get some sort of an email offer on one of my LLNN's right after catching it. But it was a strange offer:

"You want to sell cheap?"

Lol - yeah I *just* bought it but you know what, if you give me $5 you can have it.

The offer came through a Namesilo landing page that they automatically put up on a privacy-enabled domain.

Only about 10 LLNN drop a day, and maybe 3-4 go through GoDaddy Expiring every day, so the supply will be real tight from now on, unless there is another epic drop like we saw last week (the one Doron mentioned of which I bought about 100).

I can also report that First is a buyer at least of the ones with a double letter or number. I got outbid by him on ZW66 at DropCatch yesterday.

But my inventory is 95% non-double LLNN's which I think are a good investment in this crazy "chip" climate we are in.

These are all that is left for hand registration, around 6k names.

I wanted ht77.com but it went far too high... Double repeats are really taking speed, but this could be just the leading pack, and then the rest might follow. What do you think?

Yes, I think it's the leading edge (the ones with double letters or numbers). I've been able to buy a few but like I said above my real bet is on the "non-special" Chinese LLNN's. Starting from a lower base (about $20 today) they could generate really great % returns if they garner some sort of chip status.

I'm in on the same strategy.
