Maybe I ain't creative enough...but what uses will we get from this? Curious since the 10 seconds I spent thinking came up with nothing that's great.

I think some people will use it to register typos .. I can't think of anything else. :)

I'm not one of them anyway.

Typos definitely (I don't do that either though). One of the big moneymakers with typos is discovering the new and and coming sites (eg. the next facebook).

Rather than typos, I'm hoping I might be able to better see what people on the web are interested in. Might help give better ideas of what kind of websites to develop in the future.

And it's free, so no complaints from me! B-)

It could be useful for learning about niche trends....what is picking up steam

And for those typosquatters (I also am not one of them)

Thanks for posting the link.
NamePros ranks at 23661 by the way.
Not bad for a very focused forum. Quite
far ahead of what I believe is its biggest
competitor. :tu:

thanks for sharing.

The list gives an interesting overview of other tlds/cctlds.
Some of my observations -
.net is not there in the first 70
wikipedia and craigslist are the only .org in first 40.
While in the first 40, cctlds dominate

Hit the nail on the head.

Keep in mind that there are many more cctlds than gtlds. As a percentage, there are far more gtlds in the top 40, 100, and 500, especially if you don't count cctld versions of popular .coms, such as Google + eBay.

Quite a few IDN's , but of course they will never catch on.

Not as good as it looks the ones that have the Alexa toolbar that jumps them up the rankings tend to be in the forefront. Probably why it's now free as it is totally biased.
