    Thanks for sharing Bro.
I know it is asking too much, but, it would be nice if you share yiur thought process behind the acquisitions.
Specially livinglabs and Geocomm. I see there is a company that was operating on hyphen foe geocomm

But what made you decide these are worth xx, xxx when you acquired them

    Thank you!

I'm always looking to buy 1-2 word brandable domains with more and more existing potential endusers and that domain has lots of possibilities in terms of usage.

By the way, GeoComm.com was acquired by Geo-Comm.com and was redirecting to hyphen version but today it's not resolving. Not sure the reason behind this.

    Hi Abdul,

It seems that you are a real pro. How was your learning curve?

    And maybe some possible additions:

    - How long was average domain ownership for top 5 (10) sales?
    - How is domain ownership for top 5 (10) sales changed over last 3 years?
    - Do you have successful sales with big ROI after a short ownership time (lately)?

Congrats on your sale brother! God bless you with more!!

One question, do you separately list your domains with GoDaddy apart from listing with afternic?

If yes then how do you manage to verify such a big portfolio by placing txt records individually?

    Thanks!

You'll know more about my domain investing career at my blog.

    To answer your other questions:

    1) More than 5.
    2) I don't understand your question clearly.
    3) Yes, many times. The shortest time and biggest ROI I can recall is of Textbooks.CO which I hand registered for under $20 and sold for $12,000 within 24 hours.

    Thank you :)

No, I never list domains separately at GoDaddy. I just add into my Afternic account.
Most of my domains get added automatically because the WHOIS is public as my domains are with Uniregistry and I never keep domains under privacy. For domains which somehow doesn't get added, I contact the AN support to manually check WHOIS and add to my account.

    Thank you Afzal!

I can't calculate exactly % but what I can say is that after moving to AN landers, I clearly see more sales and that too in decent 4 and 5 figures on a consistent basis which was never the case in the past.

    Thanks!

Read, read and read a lot before you invest in buying domains.
    Focus only on .com
    1-2 word brandable domains.
Buy domains from expiring domain auctions and GoDaddy closeouts.
Keep the average purchase price in $xx.

    Good luck!

Not to hijack this thread but decided to try out the ns3.afternic.com and ns4.afternic.com nameservers on just 1 domain, just to see how it would look like about 3 weeks ago. Forgot about it until that domain just sold. It's been paid for and transferred already. So I'm trying some more now.

"I hope all is well with you!

I wanted to reach out and let you know that I have a firm offer to net you $x,xxx for this domain name.

I tried to push the buyer to your full price, but this is their best offer after pushing back and using comparable domain sales.

I understand this is lower than you expected, but it is a cash offer for your domain name.

I like to leave and present all offers to owners for final decision.

Please let me know your thoughts and if you would consider accepting this offer."

That's fantastic that you sold the sole domain you used NS3/NS4. Sounds good!

I strongly suggest to try any platform with all your domains no matter which platform it is. Also for at least 3-4 months to see how it performs for you because there are always ups and downs.

The quoted message you shared is regarding what?

That was just the email they sent me.

Yep, trying out some more. Spreading things around, testing things out.

Hi Abdul, Congratulations on your success. Thank you for the report.

I have one nitty-gritty tactical question. Do let me know if you have any idea on this? Assuming that one has priced the domains inside Afternic on BIN, and assuming that the domains are on NS3/NS4 lander. In such a case, if a prospect fills the form on the NS3/NS4 lander,

    (a) does a notification arrive within Afternic prompting you of such an action or
    (b) does the afternic team directly negotiate with the lead (as they know the BIN and floor) and and let you know only if the domain is sold, or if they need your inputs on going below the floor

I ask this because all my domains are BIN priced inside Afternic. So I have not experienced a "Price Request" through a lander. Are you notified of a prospective lead even on BIN domains?

Thanks in advance, happy to have others' view as well.
