Afternic down?

Hello.

Is it just me or Afternic has been down for the last two days? Maybe more, I just noticed yesterday.

Let me know. I can't access my account.

no it was not down, i am accessing it daily. may be some issue with your pc / browser.

Yeah you are right.
I connected to a remote desktop and I could access Afternic from that computer.

Something is definitely wrong with my PC .. I don't know what.

I made a few tests. The problem is not my computer. I have the same problem on my cell phone when I access internet from my home network.

When I connect to the internet at home by sharing my cell phone 3G connection, everything works fine on both my computer and my cell phone.

This proves me the problem is with my home internet network IP.
I contacted Afternic. For some reason my home IP must have been blocked.

Your IP was blacklisted for some reason. Please send your IP to unblock it.
They would unblock it in no time.

They block even whole IP-ranges...
For example, they like to ban the Ukrainian segment...

You can write their support and ask to unban your particular IP, if you have a static one. Better then nothing.
