Also my landers have been acting up all day as I got a lot of downtime errors from my monitoring.

Edit: Also pages have been loading slowly earlier today...

Edit2: It loads now (the site) but extremely slowly.

Edit/Add/UPDATE: I attempted to log in twice and got the message above with an odd red banner ...I kept clicking 'sell domains' and it finally started to work

Second UPDATE: No, it only appears to work...odd things are happening when different items are clicked. I assume they are in the middle of an update.

This is the first time I've tried to login since these problems started. Still not working. They must be using GoDaddy's programmers. Working on the live code is their main objective. Effing up everything they come into contact with. They should NEVER be working on live code. Jeez. Even on my tiny website (not even a finite fraction the size of Afternic/Godaddy) I don't let my Fiverr programmer work on the live code. Where do these guys with many million $ to spend think they have the right to be operating on live code??? Something very wrong with this picture. IMHO.

I'm not one to complain usually, but I have wasted so much time trying to do a few basic things at Afternic last few days. Just adding and deleting a few names, and changing some prices. It should have taken few minutes.

At first Chrome on Mac would not allow me in. I asked on social media, and someone told me lots of people had that problem, it was somehow a cookie issue with new Afternic and new Chrome, but if I used Incognito mode it would work. I would never have thought of that, but indeed it did work and I could add and delete listings.

Then yesterday it would work with regular Chrome once. Joy.

But then would not work with either regular or incognito Chrome, or with Safari. I get the technical errors message noted above. I've cleared cache, restarted computer, etc.

Then this morning it worked long enough for me to change one price, and then the technical errors message and can't do anything on any browser on Mac. Does anyone know any Mac browser combination that works with their new system?

I like a lot of features added in the Afternic beta, but really something has to be done to make Afternic basic access work @Paul Nicks, @Joe Styler (I know you are not in charge of technical side but just urging you to use influence to get a fix operational promptly).

It's worrying they make those updates and crashes in production environment without having previously tested enough.
Then, on top of that, they make the mess in weekend (Friday evening?) and it seems they won't solve it till Monday... No boss out there to make things working in weekends?

Does anyone know any Mac browser combination that works with their new system?

I guess the mess in not related only to an specific OS.

Had to contact support to have a BIN added on a name in negotiations. That person was awesome, but I should have been able to do that myself.

I have a strict 48 hour window on that price being good...hope for the buyers sake (if they want the name at my price) they can get the system to work for them. Of course it is available on other marketplaces at the same price for the 48 hours.

A security breach at Godaddy is in the news today. Maybe the errors on the Afternic platform are somehow related. I hope @Joe Styler is able to fix the problems at Afternic soon.

It is resolved now. It was not a security issue. It was being taken pretty seriously and @Paul Nicks was on top of it all weekend. Making sure it was being resolved. They did fix one thing and then something else caused an issue. There was a cookie issue with Chrome that was a different issue with a newer version of Chrome rolling out as well. So a few issues all should be fixed now. We apologize for the errors and will keep working on them. It was being taken very seriously.
We are rebuiliding the entire Afternic and Auctions among other things from the ground up unfortunately as much as we test it and we do test a lot, things will break. Normally not 3 in a row like this weekend But if you are patient with us we are trying to build the best Aftermarket in the industry and make things work better for everyone based in large part on what was asked for by customers for the past several years. It is certainly frustrating to have errors like this for everyone. We appreciate that. The reason though is not because things are old and breaking but because they are new and newer and better things are coming for everyone. Please keep the feedback coming and again we are sorry for what happened and will continue to try hard to minimize any mistakes.
