lol, 24 hours notice,

reminds me when they got bought out, they closed the Afternic site for almost TWO weeks and no one knew what was going on. Then announced a whole new system where all domains that were adult or gambling were to be removed. Not decent enough to allow domainers a big lead time to adjust.

You decide, Afternic.. good or poor service?

omg, Afternic still a looney bin?

In order to meet the standards of our feed provider, we were required to move Afternic customers to their own parking accounts on ActiveAudience, our sister company.

Afternic parking was not working properly for the majority of our Afternic customers, a problem that will be corrected with ActiveAudience. Our customers will now be able to see their PPC earnings by Noon ET for the previous day’s transactions as well as have more options to monetize their domains and earn more revenue per click.

We do apologize for the shortened lead time, but we were required to make a change faster than we anticipated. We believe our customers will be pleased with the new features and improved performance available on the ActiveAudience platform.

Regards,

Afternic & ActiveAudience Support Team

David,

most members in Afternic thru the discuss names forum have been complaining for several months about how their parking names in Afternic have been having major problems.

So your reply is not to address their non- stop pleading as to what the hell is wrong with Afternic parking with another poor customer repsonse, " we had to make a change faster than we anticipated". Thats good customer support?

Face it, Afternic has not had a very good communication rappore with its loyal customers for over one year now.

vbigdeli,

It was my understanding that someone here had walked through the situation and it was rectified. Based on your posting here, it appears that there was some sort of miscommunication. If you would like to discuss this further, please use the ‘contact us’ button on ActiveAudience.com and we’d be happy to assist you.

9495,

Yes, all members should have received a username and password. It sounds like that you did not receive yours. Please use the ‘contact us’ button on ActiveAudience.com and we’d be happy to assist you.

For anybody that has had an issue, please feel free to PM me directly or contact us through the ActiveAudience site - we will make sure to get back to you.

Regards,

ActiveAudience Support Team

valued customers?

If I was a Afternic customer, I would want to be notified months in advance that all my names were going to be moved to a different parking service. I would not be happy with the response to not notify loyal customers of such a major change and then when management is asked for an explanation getting this response, " we believe our customers will be pleased with the new features and improved performance available on the ActiveAudience platform."

Thats a trend at Afternic and the new owners are happily carrying on with that trend.. the hell with our customers, lets do what WE want to do.

I am happy I am not a member, I place a higher value on customer service imo.
