Affiliate question (Don't know how to name it)

Let say i have put together an affiliate website, selling let say pictures.
and let say somebody i know, is buying pictures from the certain site for several years in professional purposes spending thousands a month there.
and let say now i am affiliate with this site. and this person is starting to make his purchases using link from my site to go there and buy something. simple question is will i get comissions?

If the tracking is setup correctly you should. Also have to know how long the cookie stays on their system if they come back and buy. Usually if they buy once that is pretty much it. Since the company now has all their info and will blast them with emails
