i am thinking about doing joining an affiliate program from cj.com. this site that the affiliate program for has over 5,000 products within about 50 categories.

My question is how would I build a website promoting all of the products?

i have never done an affiliate program before and am not really sure how it works.

It may be 2k i am not sure I just know it is a lot and I am looking for a quick way to build a site around all the products. I basically want to duplicate the current companies website, but with some sort of feed so that i dont have to update content or prices. i want to do it so that I can optmize it properly for good rankings which i know their site does not have. i will use their booking engine and so on

Hi all,

Don't thinnk she meant # of merchant in CJ but the # of products in the merchants store which could easily be 5,000.

lasvegascom - Yes CJ has datafeeds, they call them product catalogs. Most CJ merchants offer them but some are not great. CJ charges 250 to access feeds unless you make 10K or so a month in sales, then its free.

However pro-active merchants offer free datafeeds outside of CJ. All of our CJ programs that we manage have FREE feeds. Take a peak and see if any of the merchants on our free feed directory fit your needs. We also have free page builders that let you build a site with a feed without needing any special software or programming. There is also a beginner article about datafeeds if anyone needs to learn from the ground up.

Hope this helps and best of luck!
