As most of you know i have a domain name www.thedvdshop.co.uk Theres no website as i dont have a clue how to make one or have the money to pay someone to make me one.But i want to sell the name as I've been told it could be worth a lot of money to dvd sellers starting up.

My Question is how do i go about selling it and getting the word out there,that its for sale? I tryed Ebay but i had a unpaying bidder.I had bids come in for the domain name but i was silly anuff to delete them and head off on to ebay! :gl:

Search google for dvd shops and goto the web sites and find the owners email address. Then write a good domain name sales letter to send out to all of them. Your going to be sending alot of emails till you get a buyer probally but it will be worth it in the end when the money shows up.

Call your nearest DVD shop(if you live in the UK, that is) and ask them if they would like that domain name.

I like the "keyword" method.
Go to google, search the "keyword" of your domain, and find companies that don't have good domain names already, and email them.
You'll most likely have less than a 2% response rate, and a response doesn't guarantee a sale by any stretch of the imagination (And also borders on spam ).
Or just post on Sedo/Afternic/etc and see what happens when you wait for someone to come to you .

The only Problem about the letter would be i wouldn't know how to lets say put it in to words,if i had my way of thinking i would just write "Hi,Thedvdshop.co.uk would you like it?" Really!

Whats Sedo/Afternic/etc ?

Use our "Appraisal" forum here, or try and sell them and see how much people will pay for them (A more accurate valuation method ).
