Some time ago my father-in-law reg'd this domain. He's kept it for a couple of years but I noticed that someone else has it parked and is earning $ from it (perhaps the company that reg'd it in the first place).


Can someone suggest what steps to take to regain control of the domain? Is it simply a matter of contacting them? Thanks in advance.

Well, if he still owns it, and by that I mean paid the yearly renewal fee, He should already know where to go. If for some reason he can't remember his log-in details, most places have a forgot password option on the log in page. Most even have forgot account number retrieval systems as well.

Simply go to register.com and find these aids.

If this dosen't work, send them a email.

According to whois, this domain belongs to M.Mackie....Correct?? Your father-in law???
