Competition ends on Monday the 22nd August at midnight GMT

I have recently looked through my advertising - both on the web, and in magazines and have noticed how dated my advert looks. I run a Nanny Agency and the company web address is:

www.supermums.co.uk

I need two adverts - both of similar design - in two different sizes. The first is quite large at 19cm wide and 13.4cm high. The second is smaller at 12.6cm wide and 6.5cm high.

Here is the previous advert in a magazine:

SM-YellowP.jpg

The larger advert is for the company in general and will contain similar content to the previous advert. (I will add more detail tomorrow)

The smaller advert will be only for babysitting. (I will add more detail tomorrow)

I will need my corporate logo in the advert which is available on the first page of my site (The picture of the nanny and children). I will also need "Super Mums" in the "Girls are weird" font similar to this:

I want the advert to look professional but fun and appealing at the same time.

If you have any questions please let me know.

The prize for the designs (in total) will be $200. I assume both designs will come from the same person - but who knows......

Here is the link to my last comp:

http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=102990

I wish you all the best of luck and I will update and tidy this post up in the near future.

More information update

These two advert are for a nanny ageny in Edinburgh and they will both be promoting the company but in different ways:

Larger Advert

This advert will cover all the services provided by the company

Permanent Nannies
Temporary Nannies
Babbysitters

All the services and details on the website www.supermums.co.uk are relevent here but perhaps some other things that should be mentioned would be the face that we offer a full payroll service and that all our child carers are vetted and have a police check done via disclosure scotland etc.

Smaller Advert

This advert will be advertising soley babysitting as a service so should be concentrationg on that although a mention of our other services as a side may be appropriate. Please check the website as it may give you sdome extra ideas.

Other things that should be included

All carers must have a police check and this is done by a government body called disclosure scotland. It might be appropriate to include their logo somewhere. Please note that a better logo will be available when they update their site)
disclogo.gif

As a nanny agency we must be registered with another government body called the care commission. They regulate standards within this field. their logo is available on their website: www.carecommission.com

We also take credit and debit card payments and I would like to include these in the advert. I have constantly struggled to find appropriate pictures but I'm sure you will!

Please get in touch or post if you have any questions.

I wont enter this competition because it is likely to be locked until this rule is followed:
If you run a design contest here, then there must always be a winner from within Namepros.

We feel that there is enough design talent on Namepros that if the offered prize is reasonable, then there will be several good entries. If we allow contest holders to specify a rule that says "If i do not like any of the designs then I am not required to give prize", then it would open up the forum for abuse by others who run contests merely to get fresh logo and design ideas, without actually intending to pay.

- Apollo

I will enter once this has been changed.

Best Regards,
Matthew Stronge.

Revised as advised - thanks.

I'd prefer you to use the above format for these adverts. You can move the orientation of the text and picture and play around with sizes though.
