Is there any AdSense format for mobi? If yes, can anyone show me your mobi sites that running Google AdSense.

I would not bother with ads on a .MOBI site. Alternatively, I would register the .COM and build a full version of the .MOBI, with ads, on the .COM. This will encourage users to view the ads by going to their PC to view the content, when they get tired of reading it on a smaller screen.

I am a NooB, but what I understand from you is that you want to build a .mobi site for mobiles and then monetize it from a full website. Meaning, you want to drive traffic from the mobile web to the PC world. If this is the logic, which I personnally find not stupid in the long run but extremely speculative and optimistic, why not use the .mobi? Now, to think that .mobi will just eat the .com is seriously the most optimistic and unreal view I had seen on .mobi. It's why I think I did not understand properly what you said by "I would register the .com".

EDIT: BTW there is already a subject about monetization of .mobi, where other possibilities than adsense were discussed and where I agree than adsense is not necessarily the solution to monetize.

What I am saying is that there should be a balance between the PC and Mobile worlds. Nobody should ever become so reliant on one that the other disappears. This will simply be a way to take advantage of the necessity of balance in the Internet between mobile content and PC content.

With the wide scale roll out of 3G networks plus much improved mobile devices (ie the iPhone) it is reasonable to think that mobile internet usage could eclipse pc internet usage as long as the content is delivered in a mobile friendly manner. This is why the .mobi extension has an opportunity, as long as it isn't just a sea of parking pages.

With this in mind, there are huge opportunities lurking for mobile only advertising.
