AdSense font changes

On some of my websites I've noticed that the font on the adsense units has changed. With some the change looks really good, on others it looks a little out of place - though it does stand out.

Anyone else notice this? I've looked through my account but don't see anything different, nor did I see any notice.

I have many many websites and it's only happening on some, but not others. Or it comes and goes. Very odd.

On that website it fits, but on others the font changes look out of place.

I've seen comic sans, small serif and others. Some kind of notice or selection to opt in or out would have been nice.

I've started to notice this as well. At first I thought I must have changed something, but on refreshing the page it usually returns to normal. Very odd, would be nice to know what is going on!

I've noticed it now too. It's kinda odd... Maybe they are testing something.

I've never noticed it before.

Now that I have I'm not sure it's a great idea, unless the publisher has control over the font. It will like great on some sites, but on others it could make the ads look worse than they already do.
