I contacted AdSense today about displayin both Adsense and AdBrite ads on my site.

my email:

This is a TOS question conserning AdBrite and AdSense. There's mixed comments on this and I saw a quote somewhere from AdBrite saying having Adsense and AdBrite on the same page is ok, but I really want to be sure it is so I do not get banned from Adsense.
So are the 2 ok to have on the same page?

Thank you.

This is what they responded (in less than 4 hours)
Thank you for your email. According to our program policies, AdBrite ads may be displayed on the same page as Google ads on your site.

In general, AdSense program policy does not permit Google ads to be published on the same page as other contextually-targeted ads. You can review this, and all Google AdSense program policies, at https://www.google.com/adsense/policies .

For additional questions, we suggest you visit our AdSense Help Center at https://www.google.com/support/adsense . If you're unable to find an answer to your question on our site, please feel free to reply to this email.

Sincerely,

I think it's ok, but is it really?

SO confused =(

Not usually as adbrite is contextual.
Strange how they gave a mixed answer!

Yep.

I really doubt that you can display adbrite and adsense ads on the same page...

You can however use them on the same SITE (I believe), by that I mean you can use purely AdSense on some pages, and purely AdBrite on others, and I think that that is not against their TOS.

Best of luck,
Rhett.

Strange response,

Afaik, you can't have Adsense and Adbrite ads on the same page as it is against the TOS of Google. It's ok if you have them on different pages of the same site.

Drum roll please .......

My Email:

Hi Natalie,
Thanks for your response. I'm still a little fuzzy if it's ok or not.
You mentioned it's ok to have both AdBrite and Adsense on one page but in your Program Policies it seems like it is not allowed.
So just to clarify, AdBrite and AdSense on the same page is ok?

Thanks for your time.

And the response....

Hello David,

Thank you for requesting clarification. Please rest assured that AdBrite ads and Google ads may be displayed on the same page. Doing so is not a violation of our program policies.

For additional questions, we suggest you visit our AdSense Help Center at
https://www.google.com/support/adsense . If you're unable to find an
answer to your question on our site, please feel free to reply to this
email.

Sincerely,

Natalie

So there you have it...

I get a 3% cut off all your adbrite / adsense income now :)

Adbrite isn't contextual, is it?

It's just people who pay to advertise on your site pretty much.

But make sure to save the email so when they ban you, you can show them that. :p

Google has total monopoly ,If they say Ok u guys cant have any kind of Ads not even Clickbank or Cj on sites where you use AdSense, Still we cant do much about it. except giving up AdSense but who would do that ?

I wouldn't give up adsense. i'm averaging $.03 a click on adbrite so that's 1 reason why. I'm sure it pays well *if* someone decides to be an advertiser.
Also, not really sure if this is a pattern, but i've been waiting 3 days on my support email I sent. Knock off 1 day because of mother's day so its still 2 days ;p

Also!
I encourage you guys to find out on your own by contacting google yourselves in case anything goes wrong.
