Hi. :) I just placed adsense on my auctionsite. What surprises me is that 4 of 5 of the adblocks promoting ebay sniper software.

I mean, that's not quite the topic of my site. Of course I would prefer ads related to the domain name business.

Below the keywords I'm using. I'm wondering, if there is something wrong with them?

domain, domains, webhosting, domain registrar, auction, bid, buy, sell, domain names, domain name, websites for sale, template, webtemplates, scripts

Update: 2 sniper adds are gone now. But still no domain related ads.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

You can use the competitive ad filter to remove those ebay ads. Hopefully others that show up after that are more relavent

Google uses your page content not the header keywords to decide on the ads. Use the new labels to emphasis one keyword loaded section of your website help google to display relevent ads.

Not sure, if I understand right, Aaron. A news article that includes my keywords? Would make sense. Thank you. :)

Try wrapping h1 and h2 tags around your adsense. Also bold keywords throughout your text content. It takes a day or two sometimes to get adsense to pick up on what your site is really about.

I had a site that focused on software, then changed it to insurance quotes. It took about 24 hours before adsense display targeted ads.
