a1.com dropped last night..

a1.com dropped last night on snap names...

Currently the bids are up to $5,853.00 with almost 3 days left.
My bid of $1000 wasn't nearly enough, the highest initial bid was: $5,100.00.

Very Nice :)
it also gets 1280 for a1.com in overture, probably people looking for A1 Grand Prix http://www.a1gp.com/main.php?hf=Yes or maybe brown sauce :hehe:
If Vaxis,Saggy & Hiphop are there my guestimate is $60,000 region

fonzie, that decision is about 5 years old and lots of other more relevant decisions have been made since ( I doubt the person who gets a1.com will say a1 employs nazi slave labor to make the sauce)

A bit strange, a domain that was paid until 30 october 2005 comes up for sale 35 days after the official expiring date while there is normaly a 45 days deletion process and a 30 days RGP period!!! perhaps even stranger after a succsesfull renewal on the 8 of november ?? see my post

Martin Zoet

Good luck with Mr Beryyhill.

I have little faith in these registrars- almost impossible to get a straight answer- one day the sh-- will really hit the fan and we will find out what has really been going on :td:

That decision was affirmed in 2001. Also, the case is significant because it does not all bad faith (ie exhortion) tactics to be used by cyber-squatters.

wow, Do you think it's a good investment to buy such a domain I mean if you took any generic domain name and paid say$30 reg fee and paid 20,000
for adveritsement wouldnt you actually be getting a little more for your money? Thats providing your site is offering a good product etc.
as far as A1 Steak Sause I dought they would try and sell it to the company
after spending so much on it. But who knows. :imho:

Man, $15k is a friggen lot of money. But it will surely go beyond that. I'd say $35k for sure. Someone is going to be very happy tomorrow.

Yeah... snapnames is going to be very happy. stupid scammers

a1.com - Amazing or what? First letter, first number.

Shame that its a scam site thats got it. It didnt drop or get caught by snapnames, they just sell them on behalf of registrars. Rediculous scams.

I wish people wouldn't bid on them sites, so that we can have a fair game. But if people wish to be scammed... then let them.

Just curious. Do you have proof about the Scam ?

Is there a way to view the closing price on an auction at snapnames? it seems to vanish from my bidding history once the auction ends and i am not able to see the final bid price.
Since i know im not gonna win this one i am curious as to how to view the final bid price.

Any bets on how high it will go?

If you were bidding on an auction you can view the closing price and the history after it closes. You need to go to Order History under History.
