I like what your shooting for although the concept relies heavily on text. Try shrinking the right hand column a bit, it's too prevelant. Column content should be secondary. A Catchty logo for the template will help sell it even though it's just for image sake. Try icorporating more images that will sell the template to the target audience. Is this a business template, an ecommerce template, an adult template, a computer gadget related template, or what. It should be clear even thought it is a generic template.

the 45 degree angles are abit outdated. Try softer lines.
