A possible trade

I purchased a 1985 El Camino SS about 8 months ago....The car belonged to a man in town near by...he passed away...his wife sold me the camino SS for $2,200 ...It was a clean as new..The engine had 122K orig mi on it....I had the engine rebuilt....It pulls 290HP at the rear wheels with a 350 cubic inch ...Slightly modded engine...I added a set of nice 17in rims and tires..Had it pianted mid night blue...Some what of a small restoration i guess...Now...here is what i have run into....A man wants to trade me a "69" Camaro Z28 for it... 4 speed standard...With a 327 ci stock engine,The Z is clean...The engines numbers match the car vin to original...It runs a drives nice...It will need paint as it has the original paint still on it...A yellow color with the double rally stipes running up the hood and down the trunk...pretty faded to null...The intereior will need to be redone...It's not terrible....Should i trade my Camino SS ...for The 69 Z28???

The '69 is a nicer looking car in my opinion. If you are planning on fixing up the '69 then in the long run it will be worth more than the 85. Heck fix it up really nice and enter it into carshows and make all your money back .

There thats my 2 cents. I like the older muscle cars better. Have fun with it!!!

Great to hear from ya NPQ!!!!!!!! ...i most likely will do the trade..and do exactly that...fix it up....Not sure i can go show quality...but i may try.
