God it takes so long. Unless it is a new reg'd site that you choose the nameservers from the beginning, I think the amount of time for Tv domains to change dns is annoying at best.

I changed last night a bunch of names. All the coms and nets were propagated within minutes. Some others took a bit longer. It is now over 24 hours later, and the tv's are still not changed.

Yes, I can see the changes through dnsstuff.com and others, but realistically, if tv was to want to get on a league with tv, they need to get their propagation up to dot coms as well.

Sigh. I just hate loosing money, even if they are new sites with not as much traffic. Makes it hard to plan. And before you ask, it was multiple registrars, and all of them are still not ready.

If you can see the changes through DNSSTUFF.COM then it means your dns resolver has a cached record, and there isn't anything your registrar, or the .TV registry can do to help that.

However I do agree, the zone updates for .TV are every 5 or 6 hours as opposed to 3-5 minutes for .COM, which can be annoying.

Yeah, the DNSStuff didn't even show them for hours.

Sigh, just complaining.

I've been having a lot of problems with Big Daddy's DNS lately. Their parked servers can't handle a bulk update. Try forwarding a few hundred domains using their parked servers and you'll see what I mean.
