A lull in spam?

Anyone else getting less then normal spam lately?

The past 4 days I've only had 3 spam's..and thats including my spam adress. not sure whats going on.. did someone kill a spammer?

In my "Main" accounts - Yep have noticed it ...

In the accounts I use for forums etc .... Nope - Just as full as always ....

if anything maybe a slight 5% drop in the overall... but thats a guess per the graph.

maybe reporting the spammers got me off their lists or something... i dunno. but im not whining, just need to find a way to spend my new found free spam time lol

but wow.. look at the yearly spam report. isnt september when they arrested that guy for spam? could that drop be him alone?

How about spending some of that free time to create a step-by-step guide on how to report spammers, for all of us spam-tortured souls? If it works to reduce *my* spam, I'll even send you some NP$ for it. :tu:

oh thats nothing. Lycos a few years ago sent me 13000 emails in one day.. i was pissed needless to say.

apparently some glitch in their software sent me a mass advertisement meant for like.. others all got sent to me.

took me many hours to delete them all. no apology ever came either.

I had 1000 once from a mailing list I was part of; they had some glitch too.

yeah, slight reduction, from about 50 every couple of days down to about 4-5
