I have a legit site with real content that I would like to promote with Google Adwords. The site also has Adsense on it as well.

Does promoting a site with Adwords violate my Adsense TOS if the landing page (or other pages) has Adsense blocks?

The site is virusinfection.info

No it doesn't violate Adsense TOS :)

mrizos, I just checked on the adwords/adsense TOS and you should be fine. You can run an adwords campaign to your site with adsense. :)

Thanks Varon, I re-read it again as well.

I emailed them some time ago to get it in writing - they won't do it - at least not for me. They sent some cut and paste response that does everything but answer the question in clear, plain and easy to understand English.

Same goes for when I asked if I can use adbright or bidvertiser to send traffic to a website with adsense on it. The response was no answer it all - it said don't commit click fraud! LOL

But yes, you will be fine. :)

LOL..... Understandably their answering bot has standard replies to send across. It just reads the keywords on your mail and first answers with a few links to go to and read additional google guidelines. Its only when you mail them a second time, that an actual human answers with the always vague replies. I was once frustrated and sent them an email asking if click fraud was okay.... lol..that was the only time a human answered quickly. Sweet!

:)

They are the only billion dollar company I know that goes out of their way to hide contacts from their users. Look over your adsense account or analytics accounts and they make finding a contact link next to impossible - mailing address or phone number - forget about it! LOL

And yeah - these automated responses are such a waste of time. But when you are the King you answer to nobody.

Lets take it a bit further. What about using adwords to promote some whypark sites?

Any opinions here? :)

I don't see any problem with that, but its better to shoot an email to the google adsense bot team. The first response will be from an automated bot with a few links to read more guidelines. After that first automated email, dash them another one and then a human should reply to you. Be sure to keep a copy of that email, because their terms and guidelines change ... like the weather.
