1) depends on the domain as some of us have different contacts so whoever has the strongest contacts in the category the domain relates to.

2) if you just hand registered it the odds of it being a high dollar domain although not impossible is low, low dollar domains don't really have enough margin for a cut to be taken by a "good" broker to make it worth the effort of finding a buyer for you unless they charge you a flat fee upfront for their services with no guarantee of a sale. Good domains brokers work on commission, bad domains charge upfront so their time is covered.

3) 1-3 days for payment after agreement of both parties, as far as how long it takes to find that buyer depends on the quality of the domain name could be a week or could be 6+ months, a good domain where the seller has realistic expectations is an easier sale then an okay domain with a seller that is looking for gold on a bronze domain.

If you think the domain isn't good enough to command a decent price for someone good to broker it then list it at sedo, godaddy premium listings, possibly build your own portfolio site as well and hope for the best. I'm sure you can find a broker to broker anything but if they don't have related contacts then it won't achieve maximum return so it kinda needs to be good enough to make it worthwhile for someone good to reach out and put in the effort. You could submit it to Sedo and see what they say but my guess is if it's a fresh registration probably a no.
