Hi -RJ- and other members,
The idea is to make a new user
(for example username: nameproshelpfund)
(who will open one thread where the basic concept will be explained)
This user only receives NP$'s.
All users who want to do a donation of any size (1NP$ or 1000NP$'s)
can do that to that user.
The moment somewhere in the world there would be a tragedy.
(for example 9/11, tsunami or anything huge) we could use this relief fund
to help the people by donating all or a part of it to that cause
real emergency bank account.
In points:
- Anybody can donate any amount.
(you dont need to submit 4000NP$'s at once you can help with
whatever amount you want to help with and what you can spare
at that moment)
- RJ will be the only one who can remove funds from this account
(to donate it to the real bank account, after that financial transaction he can make a
screenshot of the payment so everyone can see what exactly happend
and what amount to witch account has been transferred)
- In the username profile everyone can see every moment how big
this relief fund has become.
- There will be a 3 special members who will be assigned to this project
and when something happens they will create a thread that will be
sticked... so everyone can see they can submit extra NP$'s
before the money get transferred from NP$'s to real $.
- before a transfer will be made a poll will open and a minimum of 75
members have to agree that this is a good cause to donate the money
to.
(The poll will also have a "negative donate" option. the moment 25
members have voted no, this the donation will not go through!!!
even though 75 people want to send it)
This way we can all vote in a fast manner if this tragedy will or will not receive
money from our NP Relief Fund.
- The 3 main members of this project will inform everyone about
what is going on and are more or less the spokes persons and the people
who start these threads in case of a tragedy.
(the reason why we need 3 members is that we always need someone
who can do this for us. Incase, we have only one spokes person/emergency
thread opener it could be that he/she is on vacation or has no internet on that moment
with multiple people; there will always be someone to be there.)
- There could be a link on the Namepros homepage on the right side
where people can click and directly come to the donation page.
so people can donate whenever they want to.
I hope we can set up this "Emergency NamePros Relief Fund"
It does not look very usefull now, but it could make a small difference
for some lifes in the future!
In case Ron and you all find it a great idea it would be my honour
and pleasure to set up the explaination thread and username etc...
