A car that runs on air

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I just came across some articles about a French company that is going to produce a car that runs on compressed air.

A great solution to these damn high gas prices.

Its an extremely bad idea to use any food as a fuel. It will cause a huge increase in corn prices followed by other commodities, people will starve.

A horse is not the greenest car! A horse pollutes the air with methane from its ass!! It produces CO2 from breathing!! PLUS it pollutes the air with stink from its crap!!

Cows produce even more methane gas into the atmosphere because of their great numbers.

Tata Motors (India) will be mass producing it next year. Thanks to high gas prices the time has finally arrived for cars like this one as well as the electric models to start coming out in full force. Ford and GM :zzz: need to wake up and start thinking "Alternative"

I don't know what the price would be , but I read somewhere it would be very cheap. Places like India and China would be great markets to start rolling out production as they are looking for much more economical cars. The US and European markets may take a little longer.
