Well so what ? How many domains like a 1 or a 5 are out there? I could make nice emails out of that like [email protected], many potentials I think.

To be honest, you will have a difficult time selling the actual single character names themselves for a decent profit.

You will sell them (not the subdomains), but the renewals will put a hurting on the wallet before you do.

Just my 2 cents.

Well, so far I could flip any 1-char with some xxx% within under 1 year, except "0" (zero) ones. Well of course I understand the objections. I just thought this domains could sell to end users, as funny, or not typical emails. Also some regional use maybe like New Fundland.

I understand what your getting at, and I actually own a start-up that involves the sales of email addresses.

So there is def money and profits to be made, but it requires a certain domain and niche to make it successful.

Well, there are giant differences with .nf : from 1000+ $/year to 150$/year
I pay about 200/year. I used this domain as end user but now considering selling it or selling subdomains for 5$-50$ depending on length.

As the owner I can really tell you a "1" is the best one character possible, better than any letter. I know most domainers see things like s.nf better, but the managers of any company called snf will rather buy snf.com. But a "1" stands for it's own.
