.tv 9 Unique offers/inquiries In Less Than 3 Days? Am I Missing Something..

I found this very weird, but yet inspiring.. I guess.

I do not own many .tv domains, and this specific one I actually got for free from another np member.

It all started on the weekend when I received 3 unique inquiries via email for the domain. Than on Monday I received 2 offers via sedo and another unique inquiry via email. Than today when I woke up I had again 2 new inquiries via email and 1 more at sedo.

I have not replied to anyone with a amount.. as I don't know why all of a sudden this domain has struck so much interest. The highest offer listed in the initial email by anyone inquiring was high $xxx.

If anyone active within the .tv scene could pm me I would gladly share the name and hope you can provide information into the mystery of so many people wanting this name.

I do not want to post it here for obvious reasons.

i only sold couple names via sedo so i am not a sedo expert

.tv names and people are beginning take notice of the extension...

Try googling the name with and without .tv/tv to see if there is something happening that may have sparked the interest.

I figured out why the sudden spike of interest. It appears a large social network with the same name in the more popular tlds is on the works and plans to be launched sometime this summer, and has actually be advertised on tv. (probably why people wanting to acquire my domain)

If you have some automatic generated ADs on that site which could point to that new company, u may wish to remove it before archive.org snaps your site - to avoid 'bad fait' TM problems later
