Prize money upped to $100.

I'm looking a template designed for WordPress, I'm currently using the defualt style. I would like it to be modern/techno with hint of elegence.

Prize money is $100.

The name of the site will be comdriver.net, and there will be tutorials etc. on the site. It will also act as my article portfolio. Maybe a logo to go with it would be nice as well, but that is not totally neccsessary. It would be nice to have a great looking header, something impressive. I will try and give plenty of feedback.

Steadler: Sorry, but your designs aren't professional enough, they look a little clumsy.

Mastur: Better, alot better but still a little clumsy, could do with a little more work and time put in.

vip-ip: I'm liking it, but it is looking a little sinister and might be sore on some peoples eyes when reading articles etc.

What do you mean by "looking a little sinister"? And which part annoys your eyes? The way I look at it, IMO it's perfect for a blog related to your idea. WHat can I change to make it look better?

And let me know which one you like most, with eraser and pencil or without.

steadler: Yea, I'm sorry about that, I may have been a bit harsh, but you need to spend more time on it, don't be in a hurry.

vip-ip: I prefer the one without the eraser and rubber. I'm not sure it is worth $100, maybe I'm to picky, its very dark and after a while it may get annoying to read the text on a dark background.

Thanks guys.

Photoshop probably an hour an a half/two hours
Flash probably 30-45 minutes
Total: 2 - 2 1/2 hours or so, uninterrupted for the initial web page design/template

all self taught to be honest. basically trial and error and testing the waters. I'd recommend visiting flashkit.com though if you want some reference. They have support forums, tutorials, downloads, etc. There are some other sites but as I said, I generally just play around with things until I figure them out so I really don't know any good resources off the top of my head.
