Template Design Contest - $100.00 Prize
Rules:
1. All images used must be original.
2. After a winner is chosen and paid, the winning template, images used, and code becomes the property of Shadowcore.
3. Entries must be received no later than October 31, 2005.
What I require
Basically, I require a template for a music lyrics and information website. The primary focus for the site will be the lyrics aspect and discography for any artist, and the site will be used as a search directory.
However, there's 2 issues. The first being I'm not entirely sure what it will be named. Well, I do, it's just a matter of securing the URL. So, in the template, for the time being, just put 'Music Directory' in place of the actual site name. The second issue is that I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for in terms of a design. So, if something catches my eye, then we'll go from there. For now, I just want to see some lovely submissions filled with various ideas.
What should be included in the package?
- Images directory where the images will be stored.
- Any PSDs to allow for modifications when the name is decided.
Last but not least, how will the winners be paid, and what will the prize be? The prize for the best template will be $100.00 USD payable via Paypal, Check, Money Order, or NPs.
All those interested are asked to post here. Post links to images, or the actual images under here. Do NOT PM me please. I'll keep up with this thread as new entries are posted.

Edit: Requirements for the template.
Most of the lyrics websites I've seen have been bland and boring. I want something a little more indepth.
An example of a bland lyrics site is http://www.lyrics.com and http://www.lyricz.com. Both sites are bland.
The site itself needs 3 main components:
1. A member login area built into the template.
2. A lyrics search area built into the template. (More information on this below.)
3. Placement for a nav bar as well as an area for a 125x600 banner and a 468x60 banner.
Lyrics Search Module
The lyrics search module needs to possess the following fields.
- Input area to enter the search criteria.
- Drop down list(s) for search criteria type (artist, label, song title, etc)
- Link to Advanced Lyrics Search.
Navigation Bar Links
- Home, Find Lyrics, Purchase Songs, Contact, Member Area, Forums
As for color scheme, I'm not entirely picky. Lets see some creativity.
