Ah apologies I thought you meant just for renewal in general. No at the moment you must transfer the domain over before renewing for extra years!

This transfer promo is one of the industry’s best.

The $10.99 regular .com price renewal is cheaper than NameCheap’s bloated $14+ & Dyna UI is the best.
Sure, NameCheap can $1 cheaper transfer promo; ($8.16 not $8.95) but i hate NC dishonest .com renewal; my domains have found a home with DD.

At time of transfer, renewal for multiple years is not possible i think, can you confirm again. Thanks for your reply.

It actually depends on the TLD, but MOST domains are allowed to be renewed up to 10 years! When you go to renew the domain in your account like so: https://www.dynadot.com/community/help/question/renew-domain, You'll actually get the option to renew it for one or multiple years!
