777.com is an established site in Casino niche.

Now if I register a Domain Name (in Casino niche) containing 777, will that be fine?

My guess is that any NNN cannot be trademarked by itself, so I should be fine.

However, given the fact that my DN will be in same niche, will that be problematic?

What do you think?

And why would you use the string 777 in your domain name ? Does it have a specific meaning to you ? You could use any other domain, so why this one in particular ? There has to be a good reason.

Winning combination in casino is 777 & using that in DN would signify that it is relevant to Casino niche.

IMO.... As 777 is a winning combination on slots at all casinos. I can't see how it can be trademarked for that purpose (the winning combination) but there maybe a trademark specifically relating to the numbers 777 and the gambling industry. There are loads of trademarks under the number 777, ranging from cutlery to rubbers.

Can you give me an example of "loads of trademarks under the number 777"?

My opinion is that, as long as you did not copy/paste a trademark, you should be fine with a domain name that has a 777+"word or letters". On the other hand, not sure about the value. It, again, depends on the specific brand, to be valuable to them. For example www.planetwin365 .rs is the domain name of a renown specific regional betting website.

I will only be using 777 in my domain & that will be prefixxed with 2 words.

So is there any chance that 777.com would come after me?

You need to understand the details of each registered trademark: owner, wares, geography, industry etc... it's these details which define each individual "similar" trademark, especially within the same industry. This would be a good starting point.

ok, so I wen through the list & here are a few Casino TM's:

Mark text:777 Casino Jack
Mark text:777 BINGO KING
Mark text:CLUB 777
Mark text:CASINO 777
Mark text:777-777-777 WWW.777-777-777.ONLINE
Mark text:JACKPOT 777

So it seems that same number can be used by different TM's, even in same industry.

This is encouraging!
"777 Casino Jack" or "777 BINGO KING" is different from "777". So I guess it does not imply that 777 itself it trademarked.

I can see that they are different, which is why my original question was whether "777" can be used in different TMs which belong to same industry.

Seems like that's the case.
