It's an odd amount, maybe it is some currency conversion script that got it wrong.

It is possible, I mean 1.2M would make more sense than the 35K and then 888, it is pretty specific. Almost like the Porno.com sale for $8,888,888.88. That made more sense though. This number is most likely from someone trying to convert funds from their local currency.

Only 7 figure offers I got recently are in the form off responses to my BINs and they usually go something like this.

"Why you rotten piece of shit, you want 20K for that crappy domain name you can have !*#!-#! is what you can have".

Not sure if !*#!-#! counts as a 7 "figure" offer?

I use to get some Billion offers from Indonesia, all for the same domain. On some cases I think people are offering in their local currency. For example when in Italy we had Lira, before Euro, 5.000.000 equals to 2.500€ now.
