When I went out an bought 4600 6n.com's last year, all hand reg, I felt it was the best investment I have done in domaining since I been doing this since 1998. I missed the 2n, 3n, 4n, 5n boat, but I was not going to miss this boat. And don't believe the BS that "4 and "0" are bad, they are fine if you have the right patterns, sold hundreds of those type of names all to Chinese buyers. Good luck for those who own them, don't sell cheap.

People said the same thing about 5n's not going above a few hundred each and look where they are now.
I sold 39983.com I think it was or something like that for around $350 or so around a year ago. I would get 10+ times that today, so all those clever people predicting 6n's won't move up from here above a certain range, good luck with that

BTW just a few months ago random numbers were going above $250 each floor without 0/4.
We have a long way to go with this.

The volume of spam i'm getting has been huge lately on my 6n's and interestingly enough the two names i've been getting the most spam on are:

226388.com and 444159.com

One is obvious why but the other i'm at a loss. Maybe there was once a site on it or something?

I have bought every single one of my 6n's and didn't hand reg any of them.
I have been buying steadily during this quiet phase until after Chinese New Year and see where we are after that. I think prices will be a long way above where they are today for your more average names, never mind premiums which have been going up for months now.

@vickyhunter, it's a great name and yes 5 figures is close for that name, I think you'd get that in a few months from now easily.

Well for one thing, the Chinese new year will come and go and everyone will get back to business. That alone will bring the seasonal spring and summer bumps traditional to the numeric market.

I think Chaomi is being very miserly on it's floor pricing, and i'm paying less serious attention to them. I just sold a lot of average 6n's with 0/4 in them for $69 each at Namejet.

I just saw a name something like 176299.com just close at godaddy for $300.
You would have got around $200 or so for that till recently, so the premiums with/without 0/4 just keep edging up. No wonder the spam i'm getting on my 6n is increasing almost daily.

In fact with one name it's gotten so bad I deleted the domain from DNS lol.

I can't wait till March and see where 6n's are at that point in time.

After Chinese New Year, things should pick up. Last year right after Chinese New Year, the Chinese starting going crazy and buying up many of my ll.tv and nn.tv (Yes, Chinese love short .tv) and will pay 5 figures) Didn't have any 6n last year until May,but the same thing will happen with 6n, chinese will start another buying frenzy after there New Year. We need a Chinese New Year in America where we do nothing but party for 2 weeks straight(lol)
