I'm a relatively brave guy.

Today, I purchased some amazing names. I paid a ton of cash. I can't report how much due to an NDA. I've paid buckets of money to develop one of the best MOBI portfolios.

I am willing to risk one of the names (600.mobi) in a SEDO auction.

Basically, I am setting the reserve at a fraction of what I paid for the name.

WHY?

A) Because I'm an entrepreneur, and I love the rush of buying and selling great intellectual property. When I know that I'm on the line, it's simply exciting to me!

B) Because I believe deeply that this is an outstanding name - whether from a branding and development standpoint or an ultimate future click through advertising revenue stream.

SO HOW DOES THIS WORK?

First offer of $1000 will be accepted into auction. Basically, if nobody bids more than $1000 during the auction term, the 600.MOBI name is yours. The name would be yours for far, far less of what I paid today. If someone else bids more then they become the binding high bidder - and so on.

It is my bet that the name will get multiple bids during the auction.

MORE ABOUT 600.MOBI

600.mobi represents one of the finest examples of NNN branding available in the MOBI domain space.

Two number mobi names do not exist.

There are only 9 easy to remember, even hundred MOBI names available.

600.MOBI is a remarkable name...

Sincerely,
Jeremy Padawer

Unbelievable name. I don't even know how you find these things Jeremy.

No reserve? You're crazy. I'd say easily mid $x,xxx, but good chance you'll get more than that for it.

Since you made it interesting. I placed a bid.

Good Luck to everyone ;)

Thank you for the bids.

Interestingly enough the auction ENDS 7 days after the bid. Not after the accepted bid, but after the bid itself.

I will accept the first $1000 bid (to go into public auction) that occurs after 10AM PST / 1PM EST.

That is 3 hours 45 minutes from now. The auction would conclude 7 days later.

I'm learning. I travel a lot. If an auction begins at 10AM on a Saturday PST, pretty much the entire world is still awake. China, Europe, East Coast US are all awake.

Keep this in mind as you sell stuff on SEDO, eBay etc...

I will reveal EVERYTHING... including how many bids at around 10:30AM PST.

Ok... Close enough!

First bid of $1000 or more starting NOW, and I take it to auction.

Thanks!!!

I will provide more info on total bids last night in 30 minutes or so.

I'm confused?

Why doesn't it show up in the auction area yet?

Or on the listings in general...

Does it take time to appear?

It doesn't come up in the search. Maybe there is a delay if it was recently added to sedo.

It says 4 bids and right now at $2050 US (sedo.com not co.uk)

I've liked the way SEDO handles auctions. My only concern is the 7 days from initial bid... it can result in some not so good ending times.

Guess The Final Price: Win $50 Namebucks... Aka - I'm A Cheapo!

50 namebucks and my admiration to whoever comes closest to guessing final price on 600.mobi... :)

it's at $2850 US.

PS - I know... I'm cheap. $50 namebucks = $1. :) :) But my admiration is worth at least an additional namebuck or two.

PS - Please get your guesses in by Friday midnight PST. Auction closes Saturday 10AM PST / 1 PM EST!
