60 Day transfer restriction?

Hey, I think I read somewhere before that Godaddy requires you to hold the domain for 60 days until you can push it to another Godaddy account / transfer to another registar ... is it true?

I got a few domains that I bought 2 weeks ago that I want to get rid of / sell, but am worried about this restriction. Thanks !

- "Pushing" and "Transferring" are completely different

You can immediately Push to another account - But most Registrars do Have a limit of time before you can Transfer the domains out of their control(In case of Fraud).

with godaddy yes you can push to another godaddy account free, 60 days on transfer to another registrar though

GAH! my bad :red: ..you were probably reading my post in the NP$ forum.. i completely misunderstood it! id didn't realize that 'transferring' refers to actually changing registrars.. like tranferring something on godaddy to eNom or something... :red:

it's the same for co.in domains.

You're not alone. Many people still aren't clear on what exactly is meant by
"transferring".

The only way to be sure is to know what's the reason behind the "transfer".
